What if love isn't simply something we feel? What if it is a mindset that can influence the way we think, make decisions, navigate relationships, overcome challenges, serve others, and determine what a meaningful life looks like?
On Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at 8 PM EST, The People's Podcast, produced by Unseen Twisted Truths LLC, sits down with Juan Lee, author of Love Made Simple: A Guide to Inner Peace, Contentment, and Success, founder and Board President of Clear Journey Inc., U.S. Air Force veteran, speaker, podcast host, and advocate for living with what he calls a Love Mindset.
Our conversation, LOVE MADE SIMPLE: What If Love Is a Mindset?, explores an idea that reaches far beyond romantic love.
Juan's work asks people to consider what happens when love becomes a practical principle for how we live.
How does love influence the way we treat ourselves? What happens when we apply it to relationships, personal responsibility, leadership, purpose, health, finances, family, and community? Can love coexist with boundaries? Can it influence our decisions even when emotions change?
Those questions are where our conversation begins.
Meet Juan Lee: Author, Speaker and Founder of Clear Journey Inc.
Juan Lee's work did not begin with a perfectly mapped-out path.
After losing his mother at six years old, Juan struggled with school and finding direction. Following high school, he joined the United States Air Force, where his search for purpose continued. At 37, he was diagnosed with a learning disability—giving him new context for challenges he had experienced much of his life.
Juan ultimately served nine years in the Air Force. His professional journey later included finance, real estate, and prison ministry, experiences that helped shape his understanding of service, discipline, personal development, and purpose.
Today, Juan is the Founder and Board President of Clear Journey Inc., an author, speaker, podcast host, and recipient of the Speak Life Community Award.
His work centers on a philosophy that sounds simple while carrying a much larger challenge:
What would happen if we actually learned how to live through love?

Love Made Simple: Turning Love Into a Practical Way of Living
In 2020, Juan published Love Made Simple: A Guide to Inner Peace, Contentment, and Success, the book that helped lay the foundation for what would become Clear Journey.
Rather than treating love only as an emotion, Juan examines it as something that can be applied to everyday life.
The book explores love alongside purpose, acceptance, joy, self-improvement, fear, success, and the process of developing greater clarity in life.
That approach creates an important distinction.
We often talk about feeling love.
Juan's work asks us to examine living love.
Those aren't necessarily the same thing.
A feeling can change from moment to moment. A mindset influences how we interpret what happens around us, how we respond, and ultimately what we choose to do next.
That makes the idea of a Love Mindset especially interesting when we move it into real-life situations.
What does love look like during disagreement?
What does it look like when someone disappoints us?
How does love interact with accountability?
Can we care deeply for someone and still establish boundaries?
How do we love ourselves without making everything about ourselves?
And what happens when love requires discipline, courage, humility, responsibility, or sacrifice instead of simply affection?
Those are conversations worth having.

The Seven Attitudes Behind Juan Lee's Love Mindset
Juan's philosophy also incorporates what he describes as the Seven Attitudes of Love: humility, care, courage, discipline, responsibility, tenacity, and sacrifice.
Looking at love through those attitudes changes the conversation.
Love becomes something that can require courage when telling the truth.
It can require discipline when our immediate emotional response would lead us somewhere unhealthy.
It can require responsibility when we need to examine our own behavior instead of focusing entirely on someone else's.
It can require humility when we discover that our perspective is not the only perspective.
And sometimes love requires sacrifice—not the sacrifice of ourselves, rather the willingness to move beyond convenience when something genuinely matters.
That is where a philosophical idea becomes a practical one.

From Personal Growth to Relationships: Where Does Love Meet Boundaries?
This is one area where our conversation on The People's Podcast becomes especially important.
Talking about love without talking about boundaries can leave an incomplete picture.
Loving another person does not automatically determine how much access that person should have to our lives.
Compassion does not eliminate discernment.
Forgiveness does not necessarily mean returning to the same relationship dynamic.
Understanding another person's behavior does not require us to participate in it.
And loving ourselves does not require us to stop caring about others.
A Love Mindset therefore raises a more challenging question than simply asking whether we love someone.
How does love influence what we choose to do next?
That question can apply to romantic relationships, friendships, family relationships, professional environments, leadership, community, and even the relationship we have with ourselves.
Why The People's Podcast Is Having This Conversation
The People's Podcast exists to create room for conversations where different experiences, perspectives, and ideas can be examined without requiring everyone to arrive at the same conclusion.
Juan Lee's philosophy gives us exactly that opportunity.
Some people experience love primarily as an emotion.
Others understand it spiritually.
Some see it through relationships.
Others experience it through service, responsibility, sacrifice, parenthood, friendship, community, or faith.
And Juan asks us to consider another possibility:
Love as a mindset.
That doesn't mean we have to accept the idea without questioning it.
It means we get to explore it.
What works?
What becomes difficult?
Where does love meet accountability?
Where does love meet self-respect?
Can love influence success?
Can it change the way we understand purpose?
Can someone practice a Love Mindset while still walking away from relationships or circumstances that no longer align with who they are?
Those are the kinds of conversations The People's Podcast was created to have.
